About Castlight
Since 1995, we've been making outdoor lighting for Australian gardens and homes.
Cast in Sydney
Thirty years on, every Castlight fitting still begins in Sydney. It's cast from our own patterns in solid bronze or brass at a local foundry, then finished, checked by hand and assembled by people who know it.
We keep every step close to home because it's the only way to stand behind every fitting that leaves the foundry. Small variations between pieces are the mark of something made by hand, not by machine.
Machined in Sydney
The Gemini Series is precision-machined from solid brass in Sydney. Where casting gives each bronze fitting its own character, machining gives our spike and wall lights crisp lines.
Solid brass is rust-free and coastal-friendly, weathering over time to a classic patina.
The fitting that stays
We design every piece to be serviceable, so it can stay part of your landscape for longer. We can replace lenses, lamp holders, fixings, glands, lamps and power supplies for your project, so a well-loved fitting keeps working as it should.
Whether it needs a simple repair or a fresh lamp, there's always a way to extend its life.
The Team
Castlight is owned by a Sydney team of architectural and landscape lighting specialists and electricians.
We've run the cable, mounted it on Sydney's architecture and positioned it in the gardens of the city's most considered homes and projects. Over more than twenty years we watched it hold up in Australian conditions, again and again.
In 2025 we acquired it, so it could keep being made the way it always has.
